Al-Taareekh is a small independent store dedicated to bringing together beneficial contemporary Islamic literature alongside thoughtfully designed pieces inspired by Islamic history.

Our collection includes contemporary Islamic books covering a range of subjects, with a particular appreciation for works that explore the foundations of tawheed, the call to Islam, and the lives and struggles of those who upheld these principles. We aim to make beneficial works accessible to readers who are seeking knowledge and a stronger connection to their deen.

Alongside our books, we offer bookmarks inspired by the rich history and heritage of the Muslim world — drawing inspiration from its scholars, places, events and defining moments. Each piece is created with the intention of keeping these aspects of our history present in our everyday lives.

At the heart of Al-Taareekh is an appreciation for the Muwahhideen — those who devoted themselves to tawheed and sought to uphold the worship of Allah alone. Through our collection, we hope to encourage reading, learning and reflection, while preserving an appreciation for the Islamic heritage that has been passed down through generations.

Whether you're looking for a contemporary work to benefit from or a small reminder of Islamic history to accompany you in your daily life, Al-Taareekh hopes to offer something meaningful.
